ILA Productions is a theatre company founded in 2018 by Ali Hardiman and Sam Hardiman.
Our aim is to tell fascinating, entertaining stories with important messages that widen our imaginations, spark our creativity and inspire our deepest desires. Specializing in comedy, our ambition is to affect change in the mindset of our audience with Glitter Gusto and Heart.
Our debut show ELECTRIC, written by Ali Hardiman and performed by Ali Hardiman and Ericka Roe with original music composed by Sam Hardiman, enjoyed a sell out run in Theatre Upstairs in April 2018, it subsequently went on a UK & Ireland Tour which included a hugely successful 3 week run at Underbelly Cowgate as part of The Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
DISCONNECTED, which was developed as part of the Smock Allies Scene + Heard Festival, completely sold out all performances as a work in progress in Smock Alley Theatre Main Space in February 2018. It was performed by Ali Hardiman, Madi O'Carroll, Sarah Foley and Gordon Quigley with sound design by Sam Hardiman. It then remounted as a full length production in The New Theatre, Temple Bar from 21st January – 2nd February 2019 and enjoyed a further sell out two week run.
FINTAN & SÍLE ARE GETTING MARRIED, is a third production written by Ali Hardiman with music by Sam Hardiman which was performed as part of the Smock Allies Scene + Heard Festival in the Main Space Smock Alley Theatre, Febraury 2019. It is performed by Ali Hardiman, Gordon Quigley and Aoife Martyn with sound design by Sam Hardiman. It is currently in development for a full length production.

Ali Hardiman is a graduate of The Gaiety School of Acting and The Bow Street Academy.
As a writer, Ali performed in her debut self penned comedy play ELECTRIC which opened in Theatre Upstairs in April 2018, it then went on to tour the UK & Ireland including a 3 week run at Underbelly as part of The Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Ali's second play DISCONNECTED enjoyed a sell out run at The New Theatre, Temple Bar in January 2019.
As an actor, Ali recently finished filming on season 2 of FINDING JOY (Treasure Entertainment, RTE), THE SOUTH WESTERLIES (Deadpan Pictures, RTE) and DEAD HAPPY (Playground Pictures).
Ali has a screenplay in development with Screen Ireland & Treasure Entertainment, is a recipient of this years Creative Ireland Bursary Award and is a Resident Artist with the Dublin Fringe Festival.

Sam is a final year Music Student in Trinity College Dublin. Having composed music and created sound design for a number of theatre productions in college with Trinity Players, Sam went on to work in professional theatre. Credits include Disconnected (Scene + Heard Festival/The New Theatre), Viva Voce (Dublin Fringe Festival), Well That's What I Heard (Theatre Upstairs) and Electric (Theatre Upstairs), which received a 5 Star Review from The Arts Review and 4 Stars from The Reviews Hub.
He has also composed music for multiple film projects with IADT Film students and is keen to further establish himself as a Composer and Sound Designer of note.
